The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called out to a home off Littontown Road for a welfare check. While there officers eded up arresting a man there on drug charges. Police found 35 year old Samuel Cassise there in possession of two small bags of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and a bag of suspected marijuana. They also found a glass pipe on him which he admitted to smoked meth with. Cassise was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was also wanted on a Laurel County warrant for failure to appear in court on terroristic threatening charges. Cassise was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
