The Laurel County Sheriff’s office says a man and woman were arrested after attempting to run from police. Deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle, but the rider took off into a field where the suspect used his motorcycle to ram the side of the police car. The driver and passenger got off the motorcycle and tried to run from police. After a brief struggle police were able to arrest them. The driver, 28-year-old Jimmy Dale Jarvis, was found in possession of oxycodone and marijuana. He was also driving on a suspended license. Jarvis was charged with fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest and several others. The passenger, 26-year-old Danielle Mullins, was also charged with fleeing or evading police. Jarvis and Mullins were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
