Four people have been arrested after several items including cash, guns and drugs were found inside a home in Knox County. Kentucky State Police say they, along with officers from the Barbourville Police Department responded to a home on Payne Hollow Road in Barbourville. Troopers say inside they found five ounces of meth, several thousand dollars in cash, two handguns, a rifle, a police radio, digital scales and plastic bags. Police arrested 31 year old Jessica Cathers, 31 year old Justin Honeycutt, 33 year old Kyle Broughton and 53 year old Jeffery Powell. All four were arrested at the home and charged with trafficking of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a radio that sends and receives police messages. Powell and Broughton were also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. All four were lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
