The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop on the Hal Rogers Parkway resulted in a drug arrest. Deputies pulled over a pickup and immediately smelled marijuana coming from inside. The department’s K-9 Edge, as well as Kentucky State Police and London Police Department were brought in to assist. A passenger in the vehicle, 22 year old Stephon Jalin Little of Manchester, was found in possession of marijuana, some of it individually packaged, a set of digital scales, oxycodone pills, Alprazolam bars, a large amount of cash, a concealed semi automatic 9 mm handgun and an EBT card belonging to someone else. Little was charged with trafficking in marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon; two counts of possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; and knowingly fraudulently using an ID card or electronic code for benefits. He was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
