Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy James Sizemore and Deputy Gilbert Acciardo responded to a domestic dispute on Red Bird Lane , ½ mile south of London on Monday morning(2-20-2012) at approx. 8:30 A.M. When deputies arrived , they discovered the male subject had left the scene on foot, and was located by London City Police Detective Allen Harris on nearby Sherman Lane. After an investigation was conducted, the male subject was arrested on Sherman Lane. Deputies then conducted a follow-up investigation at the scene of the domestic on Red Bird Lane, and arrested a female subject there.

The two persons arrested are identified as: Erin Whittington age 32 of Red Bird Lane, London charged with Assault 4^th Degree (Domestic Violence), and David Wayne Smith age 34 also of Red Bird Lane London charged also with (Assault 4^th Degree)Domestic Violence. Both had minor injuries. Also –David Wayne Smith was determined to be a wanted person out of Tenneessee, and he was charged with being a Fugitive.

Both accused were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Facility.
